Natural, documentary wedding photography capturing real moments in Sydney.
For couples who want honest moments, beautifully captured
Sydney Wedding Photography — Captured by Our Local Team
As Sydney wedding photographers, we help you to capture the day exactly as you lived it, following you around the venue to catch the best moments without making you feel watched, rushed or told to stand every five minutes.
We work as one team, which means your coverage stays consistent from the start of the morning through to whatever the evening becomes. If you’re looking for Sydney wedding photographers who know how to stay out of the way, we’re here for you.

Why Couples Choose Our Sydney Wedding Photography service
01 · You’ll feel natural in front of the camera
We offer relaxed direction when it helps, then step back. That's what a natural wedding photographer is supposed to do. We’re here to guide you when you need it, and to follow you when you don’t.
02 · Your day flows uninterrupted
We move quietly through your wedding, from start to finish. Our documentary wedding photographer approach means we're watching for the story while you stay inside it, not the other way around.
03 · You’ll remember how it felt
The photos couples come back to most aren't always the formal ones. Often it's the hand held just before walking in, or the parent's expression during the vows. That's what we're paying attention to: unguarded reactions and real connection. The small things that carry the feeling back years later.
04 · You’re guided by experience
Light changes. Timelines shift. People gather somewhere unexpected, and the weather occasionally turns up with its own agenda. After 14 years photographing more than 700 weddings, we've learned to adapt without making it your problem.
Sydney Wedding Venues We Love Photographing
Fourteen years of Sydney weddings means we've shot in a lot of different rooms, gardens, harbours, and heritage buildings. Each one teaches you something the last one didn't.
- Doltone House Sylvania Waters
A grand waterfront ballroom with wide bay views and polished interiors. We photograph it with an eye for scale and light, and for the quieter reactions that can disappear inside a busy room if nobody's watching for them.
- Royal Botanic Garden Sydney
Open greenery, harbour light, and some of Sydney's most recognisable views. It suits couples who want nature to be the backdrop to their special moment.
- Curzon Hall
Drama and history before anyone walks down the aisle. The architecture is impossible to ignore, so we balance it against the real moments between people; the ones that don't need a grand staircase to mean something.
- The Grounds of Alexandria
Lush, detailed, full of texture, and it moves quickly. Beautiful for sure, but this is also the kind of venue where calm, candid wedding photography really pays its way. There are always things happening somewhere.
- Gunners Barracks
Historic, private, and perched above the harbour. The views are the obvious part. The smaller moments between them are usually where the story actually lives.
- Orso Bayside Mosman
Relaxed waterfront energy, soft light, boats sitting in the background. Orso works well for couples who want their wedding to feel warm and polished without tipping into formal territory.
- Dockside Darling Harbour
The view does a lot of talking at Dockside. We let it, up to a point, then pull the focus back to the people who actually got married there.
- Waterview Bicentennial Park
A lakeside setting with space, greenery and a gentle reception feel. There’s room for family moments, portraits and the celebration to happen at its own pace. Nobody feels cramped.
- Oatlands House
Heritage detail, old-world character, and a classic Sydney feel. The surroundings are grand without demanding that everyone behave accordingly, which is where the day usually gets interesting.
- Cockatoo Island
Industrial, historic, nothing else like it in Sydney Harbour. Cockatoo gives documentary wedding photography real space to play with, and that means amazing photos.
- Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel
Coastal and relaxed, with golden light when the timing cooperates. It holds onto the easygoing harbour energy of the Eastern Suburbs without trying too hard to be elegant about it.
- Gledswood Homestead & Winery
Not every couple wants a Sydney city wedding. Gledswood, with its open countryside, heritage character, and working vineyard, gives the day a completely different feel. The photography tends to be quieter for it.
Sydney Wedding Photography Coverage
Most couples choose coverage that gives the full day room to breathe. The quiet start to the morning, the ceremony, family reactions, portraits, speeches, and the stretch of evening where everyone finally stops watching the clock.
Our options are flexible because weddings don't all move the same way. A smaller ceremony may not need full-day coverage. A larger wedding with venue travel or cultural traditions usually benefits from more time.
The difference between photography only and a wedding photo and video package isn't always obvious until you think through the day. We'll help you work it out.
Common coverage options include:
- 6 Hours
Works well for registry ceremonies, shorter weddings, and celebrations that wrap before the evening does. Ceremony, portraits, family photos, and early reception. All covered properly without padding the hours.
- 10 Hours (Most Popular)
Our most commonly chosen option. Preparations through to the evening celebration, with room for the story to build without the timeline feeling squeezed from either end.
- Full Day
Some weddings just need more room. Full-day coverage means we're there from the first quiet moments through to the end of the night. No watching the clock, no cutting the story short.

Got Questions About Your Big Day?
How far in advance should we book a Sydney wedding photographer?
If you’re getting married in spring or autumn, book at least 9 months in advance, 18 if you can manage. Those days get busy. That said, if your date is closer than that, still reach out. We sometimes have space for midweek and winter weddings.
How much do wedding photographers cost in Sydney?
The price depends on what your wedding needs. Our price range is $1750- $2950 but give us a call and we will do a budget together.
How do you find a good wedding photographer?
One strong image proves very little. Find full galleries from complete wedding days and see whether the quality holds across a busy ballroom, a grey afternoon, and a dark reception. How they respond to your first enquiry tells you almost as much as the portfolio does.
Do you travel outside Sydney?
We frequently travel to the Central Coast/Gosford, Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Penrith/Blue Mountains, Southern Highlands, Wollongong/South Coast. If your venue is not in this list, please reach out.
What happens if it rains on the wedding day?
We've shot plenty of rainy weddings. The plan shifts, but the day doesn't have to.
Do you help couples who feel awkward in front of the camera?
You could even say that’s our second job. We want the entire day to be as natural as possible, so we’ll prioritise making you feel at ease before we even start working. Relaxed direction makes a real difference. Nothing theatrical, just directions that get the job done.
How long does it take to receive the photos?
We have a very good editing team. Our photographs are usually ready within 2-3 weeks, and the video within a month.
Do you offer both wedding photography and videography?
Yes. We cover wedding photography and videography in Sydney as a single team. For couples who want both, this makes the day a whole lot easier.
Still unsure if we’re the right fit?
The easiest way to start is simply to send us a message. Tell us a little about your day, and we’ll take it from there.

If our approach to photography resonates with you, we’d love to learn more about your plans and what matters most to you. We take on a limited number of weddings each year so we can remain fully present and deliver imagery that feels natural, timeless, and true to your story.
